Liliana Munoz is the chief enthusiast and founder of independent production house, Maximo Entertainment.

Prior to forging her dream path, Liliana jobbed as Series Producer and Executive Development Producer and Consultant for FremantleMedia Australia & North America. She was also a key creator for the youth cable network MTV Australia’s flagship show, The Lair, discovering Ruby Rose along the way. Liliana has produced on shows for all major Australian networks, Channel 4 UK, MTV US and Lifetime US.

Today, Liliana develops, finances and produces Australian original scripted content that is cross-genre and cross-platform for the international market through her company Maximo. Her current slate includes DINGO, a supernatural indigenous thriller, with award- winning Catriona McKenzie (Redfern Now, Satellite Boy) attached to direct and Neal Kingston co-producing; LOVE NEVER DIES, a female-driven paranormal anthology series based on a non-fiction bestseller by Australian journalist Karina Machado, with award-winning Elissa Down (Mr&Mrs Montague, The Black Balloon) and Claire McCarthy (Ophelia, The Turning) attached; and NAKED, a youth digital drama written by teenagers Nicholas Burton (NIDA freshman) and Matt Castley (NYU freshman, Doctor Doctor) and featuring multiple award winning actress Susie Porter.

Raised in Chile prior to moving to Australia when she was 15, Liliana survived a strict catholic education run by German-Chilean nuns and learned how to keep her feet firm on the ground during an 8.0 earthquake by holding onto the family’s apricot tree. Above all, Liliana is a driving-doer, excited to make evergreen memorable entertainment.
