GENERAL MANAGER FACTUAL CHANNELS, FOXTEL

Jim Buchan is the General Manager of the Factual Channels at Foxtel, which consists of crime + investigation network, HISTORY and A&E Australia. Jim is responsible for brand strategy, marketing, programming, promotion, content acquisitions and local production commissions across these channels.

Jim has been responsible for the commissioning of many successful programs across the three factual channels. These include Crime Investigation Australia, Kalgoorlie Cops, Kings Cross ER, Coast Australia, The Memorial, He’s Coming South: The Attack on Sydney Harbour, Tony Robinson’s Time Walks, Aussie Pickers, Crimes that Shook Australia and MegaTruckers.
