Roy Ashton is the Head of the TV Literary & Packaging Dept. at The Gersh Agency, which has offices in Beverly Hills and New York. Prior to joining Gersh as Partner in November, 2011, Ashton spent 13 years at CAA. Ashton started in the mailroom and grew his career helping clients package projects at the major networks, major cable and premium cable outlets. Since joining Gersh he has packaged and sold numerous projects at a record pace for the agency, including two of the three recent series pickups at Amazon, among others. As an assistant, Ashton co-founded the Junior Hollywood Radio & Television Society and has taught at USC Film School. A graduate of Columbia University, Roy lives in Los Angeles with his wife and three children.
