HEAD OF BUSINESS AFFAIRS, ABC TV

Georgina Waite is Head of Business Affairs at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, where she manages the team responsible for negotiating contracts for internal, commissioned and acquired content for ABC TV.  Georgina was previously a senior lawyer in the ABC legal team, where she managed the contracting of content for ABC TV, Radio, Online and News was involved in providing pre-publication advice to program makers across the ABC’s platforms.   Before commencing with the ABC Georgina worked for the Arts Law Centre of Australia, a Government funded advice service for artists and film makers, and started  her career as an intellectual property lawyer at Corrs Chambers Westgarth.
