GENERAL MANAGER, B.I. GROUP

Hyekyung Lee is a General Manager of Business Affair of B.I. Group. Since joining B.I. Group in 2016, she’s been involved in developing licensing models for existing animation projects. She is also involved in planning new animation projects.
She began her career in animation in 2005 at Korea Animation Producers Association, aka KAPA, which is consisted of more than 100 Korean animation companies. Until she left KAPA in 2015, she used to involved in developing government’s policy developments for animation industry and several research works. She also worked at Corea Drama Production Association as a general manager of producer school to develop a curriculum for future drama producers. Even before she joined KAPA, she used to be an sound designer and engineer for live action and animated feature films.
As B.I. Group is now expanding its business in animation to various content like web-drama, feature films, etc., she is also taking role as a producer in most of projects. She’s expanding her career in animation field through her knowledge and experiences on various content field.
