As a television producer with a background in PR and digital and social media, Karla’s professional life has been about engaging and connecting with audiences in the hope that they can learn more about themselves and the world they live in. She believes that it’s through our everyday stories that we connect to the core of who we really are; what our deepest desires are and can work towards creating the world we want to live in.

With a keen interest in comedy, user-behaviour attached to technology and storytelling, Karla was an early adopter and digital native, who co-owned a production company where she helped create pioneering award-winning digital entertainment content as an actor and producer. Her award-winning comedy series, Girl Friday, was screened on ABC2 and Telstra Mobile.

With over two decades in the entertainment industry, Karla has worked as a TV producer and researcher, a talent agent, producer of live comedy festival shows for some of Australia’s finest comedians and is a trained actor and qualified counsellor.

Karla has been recognised as a producer who nurtures both creatives and talent to bring new formats and stories to the screen.
