WRITER, DIRECTOR & PERFORMER

Kate McCartney is a writer/director, illustrator, animator and performer. Best known for her work on The Katering Show with Kate McLennan, the Kates have produced two series of the internationally successful ‘cooking’ show. The first series was released on YouTube in 2015, and the second series on ABC iView in 2016.

She has featured in Big Bite, Hamish and Andy, Time Of Our Lives and Offspring.

Kate was a senior writer for Sam Simmons’ Problems. Other credits include Adam Hills Tonight, Dirty Laundry Live, Little Lunch and You’re Skitting Me.

In 2016 Kate directed The Edge of the Bush — to screen on ABC iView.
