ABC
Linda Brusasco recently took up the role as Acting Head of TV Arts, responsible for TV and for the iview Arts Channel programming on the ABC. Linda joined the department in 2016 as an executive producer with a wealth of industry experience, after 22 years in the UK directing, producing and writing documentaries for broadcasters worldwide, including the BBC, Channel 4, ITV, Sky and Discovery.

Recent and upcoming programmes include a major 3-part documentary series Stories of Australian Cinema, our ongoing documentary strand Artsville (Horror Movie: A Low Budget Nightmare, Blasko, The Go-Betweens: Right Here, You See Monsters, My Mother’s Lost Children), 6 x 30 prime time series Making Child Prodigies, Hive project films made by artists (Guilty, Oddlands and Remembering Agatha) and short form digital first series Art Bites (Home: The Art of Ian Strange, Glass Bedroom, The Wanderers).
Ready, Steady, Pitch
Finding new talent is a priority, both in front of and behind the camera. Our Arts commissions must include Australian content and be produced by a team that incorporates Australians in at least some of the key creative roles. We can provide development support as well as do post-production deals for films that are already shot, but not edited.
