Maggie was based in the Northern Territory for twelve years and was co-director of Burrundi Pictures, a co-producing entity on the feature Yolngu Boy. Maggie produced Van Diemen’s Land, Madman Entertainment 2009, premiering at the Adelaide FF and Edinburgh Int. FF 2009, receiving a Special Mention at Sitges. Alongside Robert Connolly, Maggie produced The Turning, Madman Entertainment and CinemaPlus 2013, which premiered at the Melbourne International FF and had a Berlinale Gala Screening 2014. With Robert Connolly and Liz Kearney, Maggie produced Paper Planes, Village Roadshow 2015. Melbourne Int. FF, Toronto Int. FF, Busan Int. FF 2014 and which opened Generation KPlus for the 2015 Berlinale. Paper Planes won the CinefestOz Film Prize 2014. With Mark Patterson, Maggie produced Paul Cox’s Force of Destiny, CinemaPlus, 2015, the Opening Night film of the Melbourne International FF 2015. Maggie is the Asia Pacific Screen Awards Academy Children’s Film Fund recipient 2015. Recently Maggie produced and directed the documentary Dare To Be Different a special version of which screened on ABC Compass.
