Mandy Chang is the Head of ABC TV Arts responsible for TV and for the iview Arts Channel programming on the ABC and before this was ABC TV’s Arts Commissioning Editor. She has worked on many of the ABC’s best known arts documentary series and one-offs over the past three years. Prior to this Mandy had a distinguished career in the UK over 20 years as an independent filmmaker and Exec Producer. She has made films around the world for every major broadcaster including the BBC and Channel 4 in the UK and for PBS in the US. Her films span many documentary genres and she has worked for the world’s best companies. As a producer and director she has won many prestigious awards including an Emmy, Rose D’Or, Banff Grand Jury Prize and Griersons for her work. Mandy is passionate about the art of documentary storytelling and developing the next generation of filmmakers.
