Head Gear Films is one of the UK’s leading Film Financiers, investing over $35M a year into 40 projects per year. With recent films including BLACK MASS, WAR ON EVERYONE and PRIDE PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES, Head Gear’s work ranges from large studio movies to small indies.We provide services in the form of tax credit advances, pre-sale and MG discounting, gap, and bridge financing. Phil Hunt, Head Gear’s Company Director, has been an active financier in Australia since 2008. Phil also co-manages Head Gear’s sister company, Bankside Films, an international sales agent, alongside MD Hilary Davis and Director of Sales, Stephen Kelliher. Both have a 20 year history with Australia, having been with Beyond Films in the past.
Marlon works with Tom Harberd, the Head of Finance, in managing Head Gear’s and Bankside’s fund. He also administers finance to the feature productions we support around the world and is the point of contact for Australian projects.
