Robert has an extensive background in content creation, distribution and marketing. He has held a number of roles at the ABC including over 15 years managing the ABC’s music labels and is currently the director of the Commercial Division. ABC Commercial manages a range of media businesses which create, market and license products, content and services related to the programming and Charter activities of the ABC. The Division extends the reach of high-quality Australian content and it identifies and develops new revenue streams and has a particular focus on the expansion of revenue opportunities in the digital sector. Robert’s extensive knowledge of content creation, combined with his experience in television production and financing allow him to apply his unique skill-set to developing new and innovative projects for the ABC.
