Sarolta Csete works on developing and administering the CMPA’s mentorship programs and lands support with the organization’s international initiatives and corporate affairs.

Working closely with members and up-and-coming producers, Sarolta is responsible for researching funding opportunities and developing mentorship programs that assist both independent production companies and emerging talent. She also works alongside Susanne Vaas, assisting with international development and outreach, ensuring that members have access to the information and resources to strengthen their international business development strategies.

Having been working with the organization for over 15 years, she has worn many hats, from designer to webmaster and beyond.

She is an active member of the Independent Filmmakers Cooperative of Ottawa and also acts as vice-chair on the organization’s board.

Sarolta graduated from University of Ottawa with a degree in Communications in 2002.
