HEAD OF INTERNATIONAL, A24

Sasha Lloyd is a seasoned film executive currently heading the international business of A24 Films, a US-based production and distribution studio. A24 is active in both film and television, with past projects including Ex Machina, Room, Amy, The Lobster, While We’re Young, The Witch and The Carmichael Show.

Prior to A24, Ms. Lloyd was a founding Partner of GHL & Company (rebranded as Solar Entertainment HLB in 2012), a boutique investment banking firm specializing in media and entertainment. During her time there she led the recapitalization of Summit Entertainment and the acquisition of the Miramax library from Disney by Colony Capital. Other clients include Montecito Picture Company, Galloping Horse International, Reel FX and RKO.

Ms. Lloyd began her career at Goldman Sachs in their Media Investment Banking Division, before being promoted into the Film Finance group. Clients included Lionsgate, The Weinstein Company, Groundswell, and DNA Films, among others.

Ms. Lloyd holds a Master’s degree in Engineering from Cambridge University, England.
