Tanith Glynn-Maloney is an emerging producer from Alice Springs and is currently working as the Development Investment Manager for Screen Australia’s Indigenous Department’s second Songlines on Screen Initiative, an emerging initiative for remote indigenous filmmakers to record a Songline in their region.

She hails from a creative family and has always had a passion for Indigenous film, but it wasn’t until the last few years that she decided to give it a crack.

Tanith began her career like many indigenous filmmakers including Warwick Thornton, Steven McGregor and Rachel Perkins at CAAMA (Central Australian Aboriginal Media Association) in Alice Springs.

Tanith produced Nulla Nulla, a short film that had its world premiere at the prestigious Berlin International Film Festival in February 2015, the film went on to win the AACTA Award for best short film in the same year.

Tanith is currently participating in the Indigenous Producers Initiative with the Indigenous Department of Screen Australia. The 12 month initiative has seen 10 emerging Indigenous Producers participate in 4 intensive workshops learning skills from respected industry practitioners.
