Virginia Whitwell is Head of Production at Madman Production Company, Melbourne.  She has produced and co-produced several feature length documentaries including the award winning That Sugar Film and scripted features including Save Your Legs! (London Film Festival) and A Month Of Sundays (Toronto International Film Festival).  Hailing from the UK, she has worked on numerous productions all over the world. Her extensive production experience includes projects for Warner Bros, HBO, Lucasfilm, EON, 20^th Century Fox and Universal.

Virginia is currently producing feature documentary 2040, Damon Gameau’s follow up to That Sugar Film while developing projects across documentary, TV and feature format.

Scripted and unscripted: We are looking for original content that plays to an international audience – and content with an edge.  We’d love to hear about documentary ideas that are best served in feature format and can generate international interest.  We wouldn’t be looking for children’s content.
