Cátia Malaquias is lawyer, a mother of 3 children, a board director and an advocate for the rights of people with disability. She is a director of the board of the Attitude Foundation, the Founder and director of Starting With Julius and a Co-Founder of the Global Alliance for Disability in Media and Entertainment (GADIM). Cátia is committed to human rights and the inclusion of people with disability in every area of life and has been a leading voice in promoting disability inclusion in advertising and media in Australia. In 2016, Cátia spoke at the United Nations in Geneva and in New York about disability representation in media as a human rights concern.
