Now producing VFXs, VR and events J’aimee started her career in Film/TV Production in London. In 1999 together with her partner Osvaldo C Alfaro she established GreenhouseFX 3D|VR – one of Australia’s first remote Animation and VFX houses – specialising in immersive content whilst awaiting VR’s 2nd wave.
As Director of the Byron Bay International Film Festival (BBFF) J’aimee has a reputation for cutting-edge curation and developing of rich and diverse programmes of films, VR experiences and events which provide more meaningful screen-culture experience. She is the Curator and Festival Director for the Convergence Film Festival in Sydney and is also curating a session of Australian VR at the upcoming Cannes Film Festival. J’aimee is passionate about ensuring that first-time VR audiences are exposed to quality content which leaves them hungry for more. She has recently established Collective Reality, a production company bringing together some of the Australia’s finest VR talent to work on projects which use VR/MR to enhance the human experience.
