MATILDA BROWN

Matilda is a graduate of Film and Television at Swinburne University and Screenwriting at RMIT. She has written and directed several short films and is a two time Tropfest finalist. As an actress Matilda has worked with some of Australia’s most established directors and producers and won best actress awards from international film festivals for her roles in Martha’s New Coat, Cockatoo, Am I Ok, IMOM and was a nominee of the Heath Ledger Scholarship. She wrote and directed the short form ABC series Lessons From The Grave and last year picked up an AACTA nomination for her Foxtel series Let’s Talk About which she wrote, directed and stars in. This year Matilda directed The Caravan, a 7 part short series produced by the Offspring team for channel 10 and is currently writing a TV show.
