Patrick is a documentary filmmaker and broadcaster.  He is currently the senior investigative reporter/presenter on SBS VICELAND program, The Feed. Patrick is also host and director for the annual Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras broadcast on SBS TV. His recent documentary exposing the epidemic of bullying in Australian schools, Breaking Point: Bullying’s deadly tollhas been described as ‘must watch TV’ by news.com.au and something ‘every Australian needs to see’ by The Guardian. Patrick comes from Palestinian/Lebanese parents, and was raised in Western Sydney and has worked extensively across community social services and the arts with a passion for working with culturally diverse LGBTIQA+ folk. He is a Walkley and 3 times United Nations Media Award nominee. Patrick was just named one of the 50 most influential LGBTQI voices in Cosmopolitan’s 2017 rainbow list. In 2016 he won the LGBTIQ Honour Award for Outstanding Broadcasting.
